AnyPS5 System Requirements
By AnyPS5 Progress Tracker · Data updated
What the official documentation actually requires, and the only hardware test data available. Two data points are not enough to predict how your PC will do — so we do not pretend to.
Documented requirements
| CPU | x86-64. AMD works directly; Intel needs --to-intel at conversion. |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows or Linux (64-bit). macOS can build the relinker only. |
| GPU | Vulkan 1.1 device with graphics + compute queues and swapchain presentation. A discrete GPU is preferred; choose one with ANYPS5_GPU. |
| Memory (Windows) | Direct memory up to 13,824 MiB per title is committed in full; RAM + page file must cover it. |
| Game | A PS5 executable you legally own (not provided here). |

These results come from a small 2D game. Larger 3D titles will need far more GPU and memory, and there is no official data for them yet. Track new results on the compatibility list.
AnyPS5 requirements FAQ
What are the minimum requirements for AnyPS5?

Does AnyPS5 need an AMD CPU?
No. Intel CPUs are supported by converting with --to-intel, which rewrites supported AMD-only instructions.
How much RAM does AnyPS5 need?
It depends on the game. On Windows, a title can commit up to 13,824 MiB of direct memory at once, and installed RAM plus page file must cover it.
