AnyPS5 Download: The Only Official Source

Short answer: download AnyPS5 only from GitHub Releases. The latest official release is v0.1.1 (Sep 28, 2026). It is a command-line conversion tool plus system libraries — not a program that plays PS5 games with one click.

Why it is not a one-click installer

AnyPS5 does not include any games. To use it you need:

A PS5 game executable that you legally own (this site does not provide or link to game files).
The relinker for your OS, to convert that executable into a native .exe or ELF.
The matching system libraries (prx-windows or prx-linux) placed in a libs/ folder next to the converted program.
A Vulkan 1.1 capable GPU on an x86-64 PC.

Remember: only verified games are known to work. Right now that list is very short.

How to spot a fake AnyPS5 download

Copycat pages already exist. For example, the GitHub repo AnyPS5/AnyPS5 advertises an “Official free download. Local zip” — it is not the official AnyPS5 project. Check any source you found against these warning signs:

The GitHub owner is not “boykopovar”, or the file is hosted outside github.com
It offers one “AnyPS5.exe”, setup wizard or “local zip” instead of relinker + prx files
The description is a pile of keywords (“anyps5 github, github anyps5, anyps5 emulator…”)
It promises “all PS5 games” or bundles games, BIOS, firmware or keys
It asks you to disable antivirus, complete a survey, or enter a password to unzip

Tick anything you see on the page you found. Zero ticks is not proof of safety — the only official source is github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5/releases.

We have not analysed the files on copycat pages and do not claim they contain malware — only that they are not official and cannot be verified.

Only on the official GitHub Releases page: github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5/releases. AnyPS5 has no official website, installer, or mirror elsewhere.

Is AnyPS5 safe?

The official project is open source under GPL-2.0, and its release files are built from the public repository. Files from any other source cannot be verified and should be treated as unsafe.

Is anyps5.exe a virus?

There is no official file called anyps5.exe. The official Windows file is named relinker-<version>.exe and is only on GitHub. An “anyps5.exe” installer from another site is not official — do not run it.
