The only official download is on GitHub (v0.1.1). It is a command-line relinker, not a one-click game launcher. Sites offering an “anyps5.exe” installer are not official.

How AnyPS5 works
The PS5 uses an AMD Zen 2 CPU with the same x86-64 instruction set as a desktop PC. That means a game's machine code can already run on your processor — what is missing is everything around it: the executable format and the console's system libraries.
- Relink. The relinker rewrites the PS5 executable into a native Linux ELF or Windows PE and points its imports at AnyPS5's libraries. On Intel CPUs,
--to-intel converts supported AMD-only instructions. - Reimplement system libraries. AnyPS5 provides its own implementations of the PS5 system
.prx libraries, loaded through normal dynamic linking. - Translate graphics. A shader recompiler turns PS5 shaders into SPIR-V for Vulkan.
PS5 executable (.elf) ──relinker──▶ app.exe / app.elf (native)
│ dynamic linking
AnyPS5 system libs (libs/*.prx) ──▶ Vulkan / SDL / OSBecause nothing is emulated, a supported game runs at native speed — but every system function it calls must be reimplemented first. That is why the library progress matters.
